Backend C++ Developer Contract Role 10+ years required USC, H4-EAD, TN NO GC Required: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C++ backend systems. Extensive experience working with the Summit trading platform is essential. Solid understanding of derivatives and various types of trades. Proficiency in Oracle database management. Ability to work independently and manage complex technical solutions with minimal supervision. Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for addressing complex production challenges. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and influence non-IT stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Calypso is a plus, but not essential. Previous experience in hybrid working environments is desirable. Responsibilities: Highly skilled Senior C++ Backend Developer with extensive experience in the Summit platform. This critical role will play a key part in supporting and enhancing trading applications and systems. Possess a strong background in C++, Oracle database expertise, and in-depth knowledge of trading processes and derivatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using C++ for the Summit trading platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Summit with credential and accounting systems. Manage production line systems, addressing and resolving any production issues promptly. Assess technical architecture and drive business changes, adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment. Lead non-IT business clients, providing expert guidance on system functionalities and improvements. Contribute to Summit upgrade projects and facilitate the transition of new traders onto the platform.
