Today we have a requirement for Basis consultant position with the client Capgemini - Houston, TX - Onsite Please share with me the Resume of your consultant : [email protected] Role: Basis consultant - Onsite Work location: Houston, TX "The main visas we should accept are the following: H1B L-2 EAD H-4 EAD AOS EAD Green Card Holder US Citizen***" JOB DESCRIPTION SAP Upgrade Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, testing, and implementation of SAP system upgrades (from lower to higher versions, including enhancements and patches). Define and execute upgrade strategies for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BW, CC, CM and other SAP modules. Assess the technical and functional requirements for each upgrade and recommend solutions. Conduct impact assessments to identify potential risks and prepare mitigation strategies. Troubleshoot issues related to system downtime, performance degradation, or compatibility issues post-upgrade. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure smooth upgrade processes. Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure hardware and system resources meet the necessary requirements for upgrades. Ensure proper documentation and versioning control is maintained for all upgrades and system changes. Post-Upgrade Support & Troubleshooting: Provide post-upgrade support to resolve any technical issues, including performance or system errors. Assist with the setup and configuration of new SAP functionalities post-upgrade. SAP System Administration: Ensure ongoing system availability and stability. Perform routine SAP system maintenance and support for both ABAP and JAVA systems. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all upgrade processes.
