Job: SQL DBA Location : Remote, USA Duration: Long Term Contract Passport Number is must for Submission. Visa : Need Only H4EAD, OPT/CPT EAD, L2 EAD. Job Description: 1) Administering and maintaining servers, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of server hardware and software. 2) Managing and maintaining network infrastructure, including firewalls, and VPNs. Configuring network settings, ensuring network security, and troubleshooting. 3) Creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts. Managing user access permissions, groups, and security policies. 4) DBA experience. SQL Server expertise DB Mirroring, Availability groups 5) Implementing security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access, viruses, malware, and other cyber threats. Applying security patches and updates to servers and software. 6) Monitoring system performance, resource utilization, and network traffic. Identifying and resolving performance issues to optimize system efficiency. 7) Installing, configuring, and maintaining software applications and tools required for business operations. Ensuring software compliance and license management. 8) Responding to user-reported issues, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. 9) Maintaining documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures. Generating reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance status. 10) Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans and procedures to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a system failure or disaster. 11) Power and GIT experience.
