Job Title: Data Scientist Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite) Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Collect and analyze data through various means, including business results analysis and managing new studies. Develop predictive models using techniques such as Linear Regression, Decision Trees, and Random Forest algorithms. Create experimental frameworks to enhance data collection processes. Build tools to automate the data collection process. Search and analyze large data sets to extract usable information. Create and present reports and presentations to support business decision-making. Correlate similar data to uncover actionable insights. Develop and apply custom data models and algorithms to large data sets. Develop tools and testing models to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Create detailed reports with findings, recommendations, and solutions. Apply expertise in Data Analytics and Data Engineering. Follow software development best practices, including git-based source control. Utilize knowledge in Snowflake and other databases such as Oracle. Continuously improve reporting and analysis processes by automating or simplifying self-service support. Apply advanced PL/SQL and scripting for automation purposes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members. Desirable Skills: Hands-on experience in Data Science model development and maintenance activities. Proficiency with AWS Tools, including Sagemaker. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts. Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib. Proficiency in Advanced PL/SQL and scripting automation. Experience with Agile methodologies. Familiarity with GitHub and Jupyter notebooks.
