Role: Informatica Data Architect Location: Austin TX Experience: 12+ Ideal candidates will Informatica Architects/Administrators with at least 5 years of Informatica and IICS experience. HHSC has issued a backfill request for a Informatica Data Architect. This role will focus on administering and developing Informatica EDC and Axon tools for data governance, managing system performance, security, and server automation (Linux and Windows). Candidates should have a strong background in Informatica Admin/Development, Database Management/Integration, Cloud Infrastructure, and Scripting. Ideal candidates will be those experienced with public health data environments. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Administration of Informatica EDC/Axon toolsets Informatica EDC/Axon Development Linux administration Minimum Candidate Characteristics: 10+ years of experience data-focused experience Data analytics, integration, management, DWHs, data governance Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), cloud infrastructure solutions, and security protocols including data security, certificates, and ciphers. Strong scripting skills (Java, Python, Perl, Power, Bash, SQL) for automating system tasks, deployment activities, and performance tuning of data-intensive systems Proficient in managing Linux/Windows servers, configuring SSO, handling security vulnerability management, and supporting large-scale IaaS environments. Exceptional Candidate Characteristics: Experience with Public Health Data environments In-depth understanding of the DAMA DMBOK data management framework and hands-on experience with Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) for design, development, and administration, particularly in government healthcare data environments. Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Business Objects) for data visualization and reporting, along with experience integrating web services and APIs (SOAP, REST) Expected Duration: 12 months / 2080 hours Location: This is a hybrid role (1 day onsite).
