Work Location: Lansing MI - Hybrid Interview: Face to Face for 2nd Round Mandatory Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters degree preferred). Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a solution architect or architecture lead role. Proven experience in designing and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong background in traditional on-premises infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, etc.). Experience with hybrid cloud solutions, virtualization, and container technologies. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes). Role: GIS Analyst 10+ years Experience Mandatory. Work Location: Lansing MI - Hybrid Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in GIS analysis, spatial data management, or a related field. Experience in using GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, and other mapping tools. Familiarity with spatial analysis techniques, remote sensing, and geospatial data formats (e.g., Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML). Experience with geodatabases (e.g., Esri File Geodatabases, PostGIS) and spatial database management. Technical Skills: Proficient in GIS software and tools, including ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS Imagine, and others. Strong data analysis skills using GIS tools and spatial statistics. Proficiency in geospatial scripting (e.g., Python, ModelBuilder) for automation and custom GIS workflows. Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD) is a plus. Experience with web-based GIS platforms and mapping applications (e.g., ArcGIS Online, Leaflet). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in data. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex data to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
