The ideal candidate will bring expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization, along with a proactive approach to improving network performance and reliability.Key Responsibilities: Network Design & Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage high-availability networks. Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Perform root cause analysis for network-related issues and resolve escalations promptly. Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and IPS/IDS systems. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with organizational security policies. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support application and infrastructure projects. Maintain comprehensive network diagrams and documentation. Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute upgrades for hardware and software components. Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes are in place and regularly tested.Required Skills: Network Protocols: Expertise in TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, and QoS. Hardware: Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent network equipment. Security: Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, and other network security technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet). Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or equivalent. Cloud Integration: Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Scripting: Familiarity with Python, Bash, or Power for automation.Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent. Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in large-scale environments.
