Job Description -
Position: Business Analyst
Location: Washington, DC (metro accessible)

Duration: 6 month contract with likely extension

Requirements
           At least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA)
           Proficiency in various BA requirement elicitation techniques and producing various BA artifacts.
           Prior experience with workflow solutions, specifically Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate is a strong plus.
           Prior experience in database design is a strong plus.
           Familiarity with other financial databases and integration is a plus
           Experience with MS PowerApps and .Net is a plus

Duties:
Contribute to capturing the business requirements, including the IMF's workflows, data storage, and reporting requirements related to fundraising activities.
           Document the as-is workflows, fragmented fundraising database, and existing reporting needs.
           Elicit and document the business requirements for the to-be workflows and underlying database solution so that these workflows can be configured using standard solutions such as MS PowerApps, .Net, or others.
           Participate in developing detailed requirements for the future state of the integrated fundraising database and workflow tool.
           Document in detail use cases of standard workflows that will be captured by the fundraising database and workflow tool.
           Document exceptions to the standard workflows, and related risks and controls to the workflows.
           Document detailed reporting requirements of fundraising related data that supported by the planned fundraising database and workflow tool.
           Design data flows and integration between this new fundraising database and existing databases (such as lending data warehouse), and between application's own data functionality with the new database.
           Ensure that all documentation conforms to all BA standards and is stored in the proper repository.
           Project Documentation           Multiple projects with varied documentation requirements.
