From: Prabhat, VYZEINC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Sr. Network Engineer (Palo, F5, ACI, NSX, Meraki) Hybrid/Overland Park KS Interview: May be F2F for 2nd round The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise networking, security, and virtualization technologies, with hands-on expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and Meraki. Cisco ACI experience is required F5 is preferred; however, similar load balancing products WILL be considered This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to implement and manage complex network architectures to support our growing infrastructure at the enterprise level. Candidates with large enterprise level, multi-tenant and MSP experience are highly preferred. Local candidate who are local to Overland Park KS and can come in the office 3-4 days per week starting out are required. Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure with a focus on high availability, performance, and scalability. Security Management: Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring best practices in network security and access control. Load Balancing and Optimization: Manage F5 load balancers, ensuring optimal traffic distribution and application performance. Data Center Networking: Oversee Cisco ACI configurations to support efficient, scalable data center operations. Network Virtualization: Implement and maintain VMware NSX to support virtualized network environments and enhance network flexibility. Cloud-Managed Networking: Utilize Cisco Meraki solutions to support cloud-managed network functions, including SD-WAN and Wi-Fi. Troubleshooting and Support: Lead in troubleshooting complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution for high-impact issues. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all network changes adhere to compliance and security standards. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure. Certifications: Preferred certifications include CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE (Palo Alto), F5-CTS, VMware VCP-NV (for NSX), and Meraki CMNA or equivalent. Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls. Strong experience with F5 load balancing and traffic management. Hands-on expertise with Cisco ACI and data center networking principles required In-depth knowledge of VMware NSX for network virtualization. Familiarity with Cisco Meraki cloud-managed network solutions. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
