Role: Senior SAP Datasphere BI Developer (SAP Analytics & Data Sphere) Location: Harrisburg, PA - Remote (ONSITE at least 1 Week every month) Remote role but Consultants have to be ONSITE at least 1 Week every month in the Initial Phase Expenses paid for as per Travel Policy! Rate: $75 per hour C2C Our SAP Data & Analytics Team is looking for a dedicated Senior Consultant specializing in SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. The candidate will be in a client-facing role that not only allows him/her to capitalize on existing expertise but also offers an opportunity to immerse in a myriad of SAP BTP techniques. Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Datasphere BI Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust business intelligence models using SAP Datasphere (new feature of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud), SAP R/3, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of SAP technologies to drive insightful business decisions. Mandate: In Analytics Predictive , Augmented Analytics In Data Sphere- Migration , Modelling , Security Responsibilities: BI Modeling and Design: o Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive BI models using SAP Datasphere, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives. o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective and scalable BI solutions. SAP Integration: o Integrate data from SAP R/3 and other relevant sources into SAP Datasphere for a consolidated and unified view of business information. o Work closely with SAP BTP to leverage its capabilities for seamless integration, data orchestration, and advanced analytics. Data Governance and Quality: o Implement and enforce data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards. o Develop and maintain data quality measures to proactively identify and address issues in the BI models. Performance Optimization: o Optimize BI models for performance and responsiveness, considering scalability and efficiency in handling large datasets. o Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the underlying systems support optimal BI performance. User Training and Support: o Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing BI models effectively for reporting and analysis. o Collaborate with other teams to address and resolve user-reported issues promptly. Documentation: o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI models, data integration processes, and best practices. o Keep documentation up to date with any changes or enhancements made to the BI environment. Qualifications: 10+ years in data and BI development 5+ years of experience BI modelling via SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP Datasphere, accompanied by at least 3 complete implementation cycles. Extensive knowledge of SAP R/3 and its data structures. Experience working with SAP Datasphere (this is a new technology announced earlier this year) Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform. Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. Proficient grasp of the entire SAP Analytics landscape, including, but not limited to, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datawarehouse Cloud, and BW4/HANA. Experience with SAP BW and/or SAP HANA Modeling, coupled with SQL, R scripting, and JavaScript skills. In-depth familiarity with advanced story design features of SAP Analytic Cloud, its predictive functions, augmented analytics, and forecasting tools. Previous experience in a senior or lead role within a BI or data modeling team. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with SAP BI reporting in the CPG industry (Consumer Product Goods) SAP certifications related to BI, Data Warehousing, or SAP BTP. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
