Job Opportunity: NG911 Integration Engineer Location: 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY, 11201 Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: W2 / 1099 / C2C Job Description: We are seeking an experienced NG911 Integration Engineer to join our team. This role involves leading integration efforts, coordinating with project leads, and performing comprehensive system testing in a public safety IT environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist with integration and testing of systems & subsystems. Manage and coordinate integration between Public Safety IT subsystems and the NG9-1-1 system. Lead technical discussions for integration planning and action item tracking. Provide test cases for SAT and SIT; identify risks related to integration. Verify interfaces in production environments and augment the test team for end-to-end System Integration testing.Mandatory Skills/Experience: 12+ years of experience in technical and/or business application platforms. Expertise in managing Ansible Playbooks, roles, group variables, and inventory files. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using GitLab integrated with Ansible. Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and GitHub for version control. Experience with VMware, Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory), and RHEL technologies. Strong knowledge of storage enterprise-level solutions. Experience with infrastructure-as-code principles and certified Ansible modules. Proven ability to troubleshoot Ansible scripts and resolve automation workflow issues.Desirable Skills: Knowledge of OpenShift and RHEL technologies. Prior experience in public safety environments and/or NYC government. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
