The consultant will be responsible for testing software quality for production deployment. This position will function as a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist with responsibilities that include: Proactively engage in the end-to-end software testing cycle as it pertains to the project. Contribute to all aspects of quality assurance for the project, including establishing relevant metrics, best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated). Work with the DCY project team to test updates, patches, and repairs to the application software components in the development, test, and UAT environments. Coordinate and take corrective action, subject to DCY Management approval, to resolve all issues and problems encountered with testing to ensure the applications perform as required. Mandatory skills Experience in developing test plans, test cases, executing test cases, and documenting results and defects 8+ years. Experience in conducting test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality 5+ years. Experience in testing Microsoft .NET / Azure-based systems 5+ years. Experience in developing and maintaining automated Test scripts using MS Visual Studio C#, Selenium 5+ years. Experience in test development/scripting skills in C# 3+ years. Experience in working on projects within the AGILE methodology 3+ years. Experience in developing and maintaining Azure Load Test scripts using JMeter 2+ years. Experience with Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines 2+ years. Experience in converting existing manual test cases to automation scripts 2+ years. Experience leading/coordinating User Acceptance Testing with 2+ years. Experience in writing SQL queries - 3+ years Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. Certifications or Desired skills if any Experience using Power to automate tasks. Experience in setting up and scheduling JAMS jobs. Certifications in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Microsoft tools and technologies. Experience with Azure App Insights to log and track application issues.
