This role focuses on building and optimizing a robust, scalable, and ecommerce platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and a modern development ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on API integrations, ecommerce platforms, and automation. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences while adhering to industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy scalable JavaScript applications using Next.js Utilize serverless architecture tools like Edge Functions and AWS Lambda Integrate shopping cart and payment solutions, including PayPal, Braintree, and Stripe Build secure API integrations using GraphQL, REST, and OAuth for vendor platforms Work with headless CMS and ecommerce platforms like DatoCMS, Crystallize, and WooCommerce Implement login workflows with platforms like Clerk for seamless user authentication Ensure adherence to data privacy standards like GDPR and CCPA Optimize SEO, site speed, and UX/usability for performance and user experience Establish CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployments Manage video and asset integration, including leveraging CDNs and tools for efficient content delivery Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, with expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript Proficiency in Node.js, with experience in backend and middleware functionality Experience with serverless architectures like Edge Functions and AWS Lambda Strong experience with shopping cart integrations and ecommerce platforms Strong expertise in API integrations, OAuth, and secure authentication workflows Experience with SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL Solid understanding of SEO, site speed optimization, and UX / usability principles Experience with SEO optimization, using tools like Semrush Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools Familiarity with AWS services and deployments through Vercel for Next.js applications Familiarity with headless CMS platforms like DatoCMS and Crystallize. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills (e.g., using tools like JIRA). Ability to adapt quickly to challenges and pivot effectively, maintaining focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
