Key Responsibilities: 1. Fiber Network Design and Planning: Design comprehensive fiber-optic network systems, including backbone, distribution, and last-mile networks. Prepare detailed engineering plans, schematics, and technical documentation. Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine optimal routes and infrastructure placement. Utilize CAD or GIS tools to create and update fiber network designs. 2. Project Management: Lead fiber network projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Develop project plans, including milestones, risk assessments, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and city/county authorities for permits and approvals. Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates for stakeholders. 3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact with city/county agencies for compliance, permits, and joint planning efforts. Work closely with clients, vendors, and third-party contractors to align project goals. Facilitate communication and resolve technical or logistical challenges effectively. 4. Fiber Network Implementation: Oversee construction and installation of fiber-optic infrastructure. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for safety and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment. 5. Maintenance and Documentation: Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of network assets and as-built documentation. Provide guidance on network upgrades, expansions, and maintenance planning. Conduct post-deployment performance testing and validation.
