Role: Business Systems Analyst Location: Chicago, IL Hybrid (Only Locals) No relocation Top 5 Skill sets 1. Experience writing technical requirements in the user stories format (JIRA), confluence 2. Technical knowledge of backend APIs, web development to convey the message to dev and EQA teams 3. Experience working with cross functional teams and managing priorities 4. Knowledge of API testing tools like postman, fiddlers and reading application logs for troubleshooting issues 5 Knowledge of building operational or analytical dashboards to capture metrics Nice to have skills or certifications: 1. Good communication and presentation skills 2. Knowledge of entertainment and airline domain 3. Application and Performance testing knowledge Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders across business units (e.g., sales, finance, security, compliance) to gather and document requirements, ensuring clear and effective communication with all teams. Develop and implement precise management plans for each project, prioritizing transparency and clarity at every stage. Conduct thorough quality assurance evaluations and communicate findings to stakeholders. Analyze user requirements for systems in production and ensure maximum usability and efficiency. Maintain and refine systems processes, including delivering regular status reports to relevant parties. Create and update internal and external documentation, ensuring all materials are accurate and comprehensive. Perform daily systems analytics to optimize effectiveness and address issues proactively. Build strong, lasting relationships with partners to ensure seamless systems integration and support. Provide data-driven recommendations and address inquiries from managers and executives with supporting research. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in analytics and systems development roles. High proficiency in SQL and database management. Strong analytical abilities and a track record of generating actionable insights from data. Practical experience in creating process documentation and reports. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data to diverse audiences.
