Need independent candidate!! 10+ years of exp profiles preferred Job Description As the Senior Business Intelligence (BI) developer, you will be instrumental in creating a variety of reports based on our Azure Synapse Data Warehouse and additional data sources. You will enhance and maintain our enterprise data and analytics environment by collaborating with business users to gather their requests, understand their requirements, and develop meaningful reports and dashboards. Working alongside other team members, you will advocate for standardization and consistency within data models. Your expertise in SQL, M, Power Query, and DAX will ensure that you can develop both interactive Power BI reports and print-ready paginated reports. By delivering business intelligence solutions, you will foster a data-driven culture that meets the organizations current and future needs. Staying updated on current and emerging technologies in business intelligence is essential for creating sustainable solutions and achieving success in your role. Responsibilities: Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and make certain that reporting solutions effectively address their needs. Collaborate with data engineers, data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Designing and Developing Power BI Interactive Reports, Paginated Reports and Dashboards Leverage Power BI to collect data from multiple sources such as Excel, APIs, SQL, and SharePoint. Develop visually compelling, interactive visualizations that convey key insights to stakeholders and facilitate informed decision-making. Collaborate with team members to share best practices, provide technical guidance, and support the adoption of Power BI and other platform tools. Train and Mentor team members and Power Users on using Power BI, SQL server T-SQL, and other tools for their respective needs. Stay up to date with technical updates and features related to Power BI and other technologies to maintain best practices. Monitor and optimize the performance of business intelligence solutions. Document and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities to foster productive work relationships. All potential candidates must have the following: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 10+ years of experience in designing and developing business intelligence reporting solutions Expertise in MS SSRS, MS Power BI, Excel, and Analysis Services Proficient in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, DAX queries, and M queries Proficient in performance tuning and query optimization Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills The ideal candidate will also have the following: Experience with Commercial/Investment Real Estate tools (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Argus, Juniper Square, VTS). Proven experience in developing enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions for complex environments. Skilled in designing custom paginated reports and generating diverse report types, such as on-demand, drill-down, drill-through, parameterized, cascading, conditional, sub-reports, and dynamic grouping, in various formats using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI Report Builder. Experience in VBA, Python and/or Pyspark programming languages. Good understanding of Git as well as Agile & SDLC methodologies.
