The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, develop, and support integration solutions. This role demands hands-on expertise in IBM ITX, Sterling Integrator, and related middleware tools to ensure robust, secure, and efficient integrations.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with functional teams to drive data mapping exercises and define integration requirements. Design, develop, and test integration solutions, including SOAP/REST APIs, messaging queues, and database integrations. Develop and maintain complex integrations leveraging synchronous and asynchronous messaging patterns. Participate in creating test cases, generating test data, and conducting unit, system, and user acceptance testing. Prepare integrations for operational readiness, including support documentation and deployment guidelines. Analyze and resolve bugs throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Establish and follow software development best practices while guiding team members. Effectively communicate development progress and project statuses to team members and management. Adhere to project schedules, ensuring timely execution within established timelines.Mandatory Skills: Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in IBM ITX and Sterling Integrator middleware tools. Expertise in ITX Design Studio, Commerce Manager, Launcher, and Resource Adaptors. In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, architectures, and best practices. Proficiency in developing integration solutions using Web Services, SOAP, JSON, REST APIs, and XML. Experience with connectivity protocols (HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP) and Blob Storage. Strong understanding of securing solutions (OAuth2 flow, digital signatures, certificates, TLS/SSL). Experience with Middleware Messaging (IBM MQ, JMS) and Pub-Sub models. Database Skills: Solid knowledge of RDBMS concepts and cloud database technologies. Proficiency in writing complex database queries and PL/SQL programming. System Knowledge: Working knowledge of Linux systems and scripting. Functional Expertise: Familiarity with freight systems, related interfaces, and data dictionaries.Desired Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. Familiarity with Agile concepts and tools like SAFe. Experience using web testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI. Working knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI, JSON, XML, and flat file formats. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 7+ years of experience in integration development with demonstrated expertise in IBM ITX.
