Sr DB2 DBA w/ Financial exp. (11+ years) Location:  New York, NY (10004) - 3 days onsite (local only) Duration:  12 + months Interview Mode:  Webcam Visa Requirements:  USC/GC/GCEAD only LinkedIn must Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Work in a DB2 Distributed Data hub environment. Set up and manage HADR (High Availability Disaster Recovery). Implement and manage database replication technologies. Write and maintain scripts for database management. Monitor and run the DB2 distributed Data hub. Perform DB2 Performance & Tuning techniques. Monitor and manage DB2 servers. Work under time and resource constraints to find effective solutions. Expand technical and business knowledge. Requirements: 11-15+ years of DB2 DBA experience. Experience in the Investment Banking and Wealth Management domain. Financial Services industry experience required; Wealth Management preferred. Experience with enterprise-scale, real-time, highly accessed transactional databases. High aptitude in DB2 Performance & Tuning techniques. Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills. Motivated to expand technical and business knowledge.
