Job Title Business Analyst Duration 6+ months Location Branchville, New Jersey - Local to NY NJ ONLY - USC ONLY USC ONLY LinkedIn Selective Insurance Need to be technical/data exp focused 4-6 months and then possible conversion (if converted its a hybrid position) The person would be onsite in Branchville 5 days a week (but she is checking on flexibility because I pushed for it) A lot of the work would be working with the business side, or marketing and then going back to the developers or Data Engineering team to pull data and reports Data integration Experience with technologies like Power BI, Python, Cognos, Data Bricks (not from a hands-on standpoint, but from a project knowledge.. they need to be able to talk the talk) P&C Insurance would be very helpful* List of requirements that we need in candidates - 5+ years of experience in a business analysis role, 5+ years working with data/reporting Strong organizational, time management, and project prioritization skills. (Recent) - Experience in an Agile environment and knowledge of Agile methodology & frameworks Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with audiences spanning from peers to executives. Excellent written communication skills; ability to clearly express thoughts and ideas through documentation. Experience with Excel, and PowerPoint Formal business analysis skills on project work is preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to analyze problems, probe facts, analyze issues and present alternative solutions.
