Must be local Onsite 1 day a week (Mondays) Summary: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team and drive the development and optimization of a microservices-based platform. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance services, integrating platforms, and ensuring smooth deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Node.js development, API integration, and cloud technologies, coupled with a commitment to performance, security, and reliability. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Node.js microservices to support platform functionality. Integrate additional services and platforms into the existing architecture. Diagnose and resolve performance and latency issues in applications. Design and implement new RESTful and Event-Driven APIs in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Perform unit testing and manage code migrations across Development, QA, and Production environments. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including runbooks and system guides. Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and address service disruptions. Enhance platform reliability and scalability through performance monitoring and optimization. Qualifications: Programming Expertise: 7+ years of experience with Node.js and React.js development. Cloud Platforms: 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, or P. API Development: Proven proficiency in RESTful and Event-Driven APIs, with at least 3+ years of experience working with API gateways. CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience in continuous integration and deployment processes. Monitoring Tools: 2+ years of experience with monitoring and SIEM tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk. Containerization: Familiarity with platforms like OpenShift or AKS (preferred). Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC2 and NIST 800-63A. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of microservices architecture and Node.js best practices. Background in financial services or other regulated industries. Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset. Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
