Mostly remote with occasional onsite days required. Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting at their own expense. MOI: Video DETAILS: The seeks a PeopleSoft Analyst IV. The role will focus on query writing, emphasizing Commitment Control (KK) and General Ledger (GL). Tasks include recommending and implementing reconciliation approaches, developing robust queries, and collaborating with various teams to define business requirements. Outputs will include reconciliation queries, monitoring queries, exception reporting, updated query training materials, and updated documentation for query standards. The role excludes application engines and BI Publisher tasks. REQUIRED SKILLS: Financial functional understanding of system data, not just technical expertise. Commitment Control (KK) experience. Understanding of General Ledger (GL) and KK reporting. Understanding multiple SetIDs. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: Experience with query performance issues. Experience with nVision. TASKS AND DELIVERABLES: Key Tasks: Review backlog of agency queries. Evaluate current reconciliation methodologies. Edit, modify, or discontinue outdated queries. Create new queries and potentially design new nVision layouts. Collaborate with STAR Finance Team, SCO, and agencies for business requirements. Deliverables: Reconciliation queries for GL accounts, funds, appropriations, operating units, and departments. Exception reporting, such as transactions not journal-generated from subsystem modules. Updated training materials and documentation for query standards. In-Scope Tasks: Developing queries and potentially partnering with BI teams for dashboard presentations. Query training for the section. Out-of-Scope Tasks: Application engines and BI Publisher. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Historical issues with existing queries include inefficiency, incorrectness, incompleteness, ambiguity, and lack of understanding by original writers. Updates aim to address these deficiencies, factoring in new functionality and improved methodologies.
