Job Title: Senior EDIfecs Developer Location: CA (Remote) Duration: 6+ months Interview: Skype/Phone Visa: Only USC/GC/GCead Candidates Job Description: The Senior Edifecs Developer will leverage their knowledge of C#, EDI transactions, and the Edifecs platform to help the Plan transition to the Edifecs Trading Partner Management (TPM) cloud-based application which helps users manage partners and their information as well as establish agreements with partners. TPM is a component of the Edifecs Smart Trading Solution used in conjunction with Edifecs Transaction Management. This role requires hands-on development and creation of solutions. Bachelors degree in computer science, Mathematics, or related field. At least six years progressive experience in an EDI role or similar analytical position for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department or at least ten years of progressive experience in an EDI Analyst capacity or similar analytical position for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department. Hands-on experience working with C# and SQL. Experience with Edifecs Trading Partner Management (TPM) highly desired. Experience with Tableau highly desired. What Youll Get to Do: Assist the health plan in converting their legacy custom-coded EDI solution (built in C#/.NET) to the Edifecs platform. Read and understand C# code in order to document what the code was doing and configure Edifecs to perform that function. Be responsible for complex data processing, creating procedures and systems, providing detailed technical analytics for complex automated process improvement procedures, and designing critical and complex core system modifications for the company. Elicit complex business requirements through group meetings, interviews, observation, and/or existing systems documentation. Contributes to the EDI team with complex and comprehensive documentation of the technical requirements in a format that facilitates business and technical communication and understanding amongst the business department or individuals. Independently analyze data, draw sound conclusions, and interpret/follow detailed and precise written and oral instructions such as checklists. Lead communication and facilitation efforts to present the documented findings and results from an analytical engagement.
