From: Ravi Duvey, Tek Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description : Title : Senior Backend Developer - F2F Interview Type : Hybrid Location : Phoenix , AZ Duration : 6+ months Visa : USC , Green Card , GCEAD , H4EAD any OPTEAD only MOI : Virtual + Onsite Interview - Mandatory Key Responsibilities : Write code that delights customers and partners Plan, design, implement and support services that meet or exceed customer requirements Participate in requirements gathering, refinement and vetting Troubleshoot technical issues, identifying root causes and suggesting corrective action Develop bug fixes based on personal troubleshooting efforts and feedback from system users and experts Improve existing systems through targeted refactoring, rewriting and replacing Communicate to team members and management on project progress, challenges, opportunities, expected outcomes and recommended improvements/changes to make projects successful Basic Qualifications : BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or other technical field 5+ years professional experience in software development 5+ years writing software using JVM-based languages like Java, Groovy or Kotlin, in a Linux environment 2+ years working with relational databases 2+ years developing secure REST-based APIs for public consumption Many years of getting stuff done with common scripting tools like Python, Perl, Ruby, Go, bash, etc. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices throughout the software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control management, build processes, testing and acceptance practices, deployment mechanisms and operational procedures. Preferred Qualifications : MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or other technical field 5+ years writing C or C++ code on a Unix/Linux platform Experience planning, designing and building complex software systems to serve millions of customers Experience with video encoding, transcoding and end user delivery Experience with AWS, including EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, Glacier, Route 53, Lambda and Cognito Experience communicating technical ideas, designs and implementations to fellow team members, non-technical team members, project and product management, and end users.
