Have a deep understanding of APIs, user story development, technical requirements, and agile/scrum processes. Experience in the financial services industry with focus on banking is required. Experience writing API requirements/specifications required. Experience with agile/scrum product management principles required. Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Postman. Bachelors degree required. Preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification. Responsibilities: This role will be accountable for capturing customer/business needs for APIs and translating those into technical requirements. This includes working with external partners to deeply understand their APIs. The API Product Owner will have accountability for developing the APIs that support the digital channels and integrations with partners. Integrations include core processors, identity providers, fraud tools, and many more systems that bring together the best-in-class experience across our digital channels. Function as the product owner on a scrum team. You will be responsible for backlog management, user stories, leading backlog grooming/refinement, and participating in scrum ceremonies such as stand up, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retros. Accountable for delivery of the product from requirements to product release. Responsible for collaborating and communicating with stakeholders throughout the agile lifecycle to maintain alignment on organizational plans.
