They like them to be close to Scottsdale or 50 miles from Scottdale ) Interview has to be Onsite and Virtual Job Description We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be testing, breaking, critiquing, stressing and re-testing all of the services and applications develops for its Digitization Partners. As a member of the small but ruthlessly efficient development team, you will be involved in every part of the development lifecycle from conception to implementation to support and reinvention. Responsibilities You will be responsible for testing all of the services and applications develops and maintains for their Digitization Partners. Testing will include acceptance testing of features and bug fixes, smoke testing of releases, regression testing, customer acceptance testing and load testing. Testing will apply to partner-facing applications and their backing services, both internal and external. Skills -- Ability to develop and clearly document test plans for web applications and APIs -- Ability to clearly document defects found in web applications and APIs -- Ability to clearly document enhancements desired in web applications and APIs -- Ability to clearly document a release using tools like Jira, Confluence or Google office products -- Ability to analyze the browsers developer tools to diagnose problems -- Ability to invoke APIs using command line tools like cURL or Postman or similar -- Ability to figure out what is going on in really complicated systems -- Ability to automate API testing -- Ability to automate web application testing preferred Experience -- 5+ years working in a quality assurance role -- 5+ years working in dynamic environment releasing software multiple times per week -- 5+ years troubleshooting customer-affecting issues, finding root causes and suggesting fixes -- 2+ years testing modern web applications, including single page applications -- 2+ years testing REST-based APIs -- 2+ years working with Jira to manage and track stories, bugs, enhancements and epics -- Experience automating API testing -- Experience automating web application testing -- Bachelors degree Keywords: Arizona Quality Assurance Engineer: [email protected] |
