NOTE: Need min 12+ yrs of exp only Job Title: BI Developer Job ID: VZGTJP00056506 Job Location: Multiple Locations Duration: 06 Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Sr. BI Developer, you will work with our existing tools to build reports, develop database schemas, document requirements, maintain existing databases and report, and migrate reports from one platform to another. You will also write code/script to conduct certain tasks, document existing code and participate in software development for an existing project. As an experienced BI developer with focus on data analytics, you are well versed in SQL language, databases, reporting platforms. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field. 5-7 years of experience in general software development and a minimum of 2 years focused on data analytics and business intelligence. Deep understanding of the SQL language. Experience with one or more reporting platforms (Google Looker Studio, Quicksight, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) Experience with developing reporting solutions using custom code. Proficiency in at least one one programming language (e.g. Python). Ability to turn analytical or reporting requirements into actual reports. Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, BigQuery, AWS Aurora, etc.) Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) Great analytical and debugging skills Creative approach to problem-solving, adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership. Experience working with Docker-based development and deployment environment Excellent communication (verbal and written) Desired Skills: MS in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes. Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Development (CD). Familiar with DevOps processes and tools (TeamCity, GitLab, Jenkins). Proficiency in Jira development.
