Job Title: Infrastructure Senior Architect Location: Remote(US) (ok with EST or CST) Job Description: Lead the architectural design, implementation, and imization of cloud infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as part of the lift-and-shift migration and modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Define and deliver high-level architectural solutions aligned with project goals for cloud migration and modernization. Lead efforts in designing secure, scalable, and reliable OCI architectures, including compute, storage, networking, audit, governance and security. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency across on-premises and cloud environments. Define governance frameworks, Architecture Review Board, tagging policies, and resource management standards for OCI. Establish robust DR and backup strategies for critical infrastructure in OCI. Guide automation efforts using Terraform and other tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Oversee network design, including VCNs, FastConnect, VPN, and hybrid connectivity. Develop operational guidelines and enablement materials for OCI adion. Qualifications: Minimum 10+ years in infrastructure architecture, with 3+ years in OCI and similar cloud environments. Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, hybrid setups, and secure cloud infrastructures. Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or OCI CLI for IaC implementations. Experience with cloud governance, tenancy management, and security best practices. Certifications in OCI (OCI Architect Professional), PMP, ITIL Practitioner, or similar. Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment. Analytical mindset for problem-solving and risk management. Must Haves: Proven ability to design, implement, and imize highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud infrastructures (Preferably OCI or any cloud) Skilled in embedding security best practices into all layers of the infrastructure (Preferably OCI or any cloud) Proficient in architecture evaluation and reviews, leveraging industry best practices.
