The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a proven ability to design and implement robust and scalable data solutions. Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes. Define and document technical specifications, system architecture diagrams, and data models. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools for data integration and transformation. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures. Stay up-to-date on the latest data technologies and industry best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks like PySpark. Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of data integration tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Matillion. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with data lake architectures and technologies (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Lake Storage). Experience with Agile development methodologies.
