We are a true performance engineer team from load testing, automation to building performance tooling. Project Description: We are looking for a performance engineer to join our Resilience, Reliability and Quality team. This position is to be focused improving the performance and resilience of client digital and technology entities. This is an excellent opportunity to join and help shape a best-in-class operations performance engineering team! We focus on agile operations with a devOps culture in a microservices architecture. Position Summary/Job Description: Assess and develop solutions to further improve client performance Perform load tests against a multi-origin, zero-downtime, highly scalable web infrastructure Design, develop, review and execute load testing scripts with industry leading tools Develop load testing plans to handle peak volumes for top 3 e-commerce retailer Identify performance bottlenecks and constraints and work with engineering teams on remediation Analyze performance testing results providing actionable recommendations Be a subject matter expert for cross functional teams on performance Automate internal processes and opportunities for tool development How much time will the resource spend pair programming 15% of the time What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job 5+ years lead performance engineering experience in e-commerce industry 5+ years performance test scripting experience (SOASTA, JMeter, LoadRunner) Extensive experience with JavaScript development Proficient in developing scripts for automation (Ruby, Java, Python...) Understanding of large n-tier services-oriented architectures What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for Technical background and is ready to hit the ground running Will there be a Hacker Rank test Required for this REQ Yes 30 minute phone interview followed by 90 minute Hackerrank session.
