AWS Cloud Engineer Job Location: Greer, SC 29651 USC GCEAD H4EAD ONLY Near by relocation works 2nd round will be Face to face Note: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote) 40% onsite 60 % remote MUST BE LOCAL IN SC. Required: 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS). Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues by analyzing logs (e.g., AWS CloudWatch) and implementing effective solutions to ensure high system reliability. 3+ years of experience executing code changes, refactoring non-performant code, and collaborating with developers to optimize application performance. 2+ year in architecting and deploying applications based on major cloud provider infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure). This should involve contributing to architectural decisions/modifications rather than merely maintaining applications hosted on one of the cloud providers. Hands-on experience tuning database queries, monitoring database health, and improving query execution efficiency for high-traffic systems. Demonstrated ability to implement and improve observability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure system uptime and reliability. Top 3 Skills: Expertise in maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure, with a deep understanding of AWS services, system performance tuning, and cost optimization strategies. Strong debugging skills, including proficiency in analyzing logs, tracing system issues, and implementing fixes in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving and coding abilities, with experience making minor application code changes and improving codebase efficiency to support scalable, reliable systems. Must Have: Experience and proficiency deploying and tuning a software execution environment to ensure reliable operations. Nice To Have: Experience as a typescript-based developer utilizing frameworks such as NestJS, React or Svelte Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS).
