Design and implement solutions for handling file transfers over FTP, SFTP, and other protocols with high reliability and security. Work with NGFT protocols to ensure seamless integration with third-party systems and platforms. Develop RESTful web services and APIs to support file transfer operations. Write efficient, maintainable, and testable Java code adhering to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FTP, NGFT integrations, and file transfer failures. Perform unit testing and debugging of Java applications, ensuring proper file handling and transfer functionality. Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring systems to detect and resolve issues in file transfers. Optimize the performance of Java applications that interact with file systems and remote servers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, business analysts, and operations) to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Integrate with databases and file systems to automate data processing and transfers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in file transfer protocols and Java development.
