IT Business Analyst III Opportunity Houston, TX (Onsite) Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite) Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst Certification: Scrum Master or Product Owner certification (preferred) Must Have: Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with 2-3 years of experience supporting Agile teams. Proven ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements and transform them into actionable solutions. Proficiency in tools like ADO or Jira for Agile management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Competence in various business analysis techniques, including data modeling, wireframes, user stories, and backlog management. Key Responsibilities: 1.Stakeholder Collaboration: oUnderstand and transform business objectives into scoped deliverables, defining MVP and ensuring customer-centric solutions. oDrive data-driven decision-making by analyzing and leveraging relevant data insights. 2.Backlog Management: oBuild, prioritize, and maintain project backlogs, supporting Product Owners and business stakeholders. oFacilitate ongoing backlog grooming to define value, priority, and sprint scope. 3.Agile Leadership: oActively participate in Agile ceremonies like stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. oCollaborate to elaborate user stories, including acceptance criteria and business rules. 4.Testing and UAT: oPerform functional testing during development and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). oWrite UAT scripts and validate outputs to ensure alignment with defined requirements. 5.Continuous Improvement: oMeasure and track KPIs to ensure project success and drive continuous improvements. Preferred Skills: Experience with AI initiatives and familiarity with Digital teams. Knowledge of the Utility industry. Certifications such as IIBA, CBAP, or Scrum Master are advantageous.
