Position : Validation Engineer Location : Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid) Duration : 6+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Validation Engineer to join our Validation and Equipment Department. Reporting directly to the Manager of Validation and Equipment, you will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to perform validation efforts on manufacturing equipment, focusing on non-device software testing. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless integration and validation of manufacturing equipment in production lines. Key Responsibilities: Perform Installation Qualification (IQ) as part of equipment validation. Validate the processes of equipment being installed on production lines. Manage 615 validation projects concurrently, coordinating with manufacturing engineers and vendor partners. Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office and document management systems (e.g., Wind chill or similar). Conduct verification and validation (V&V) on manufacturing equipment in collaboration with process owners. Communicate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and external partners to ensure proper testing and equipment functionality. Act as a self-starter, proactively addressing challenges and driving project success. Qualifications: Experience: 510 years in equipment validation, preferably in the medical device industry. Familiarity with document management systems; specific Wind chill experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. A proactive and thorough approach to learning and addressing complex systems. Industry experience in manufacturing or regulated environments is highly preferred. Work Environment & Schedule: Onsite Schedule: First 3 months onsite full-time for training and onboarding, followed by a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Location Perks: Situated in Minnesota, offering a blend of outdoor activities, wineries, breweries, and countryside exploration. Training & Support: Initial mentorship and hands-on training during the first 3 months. Transition to semi-independence by 6 months, with full autonomy expected by 12 months.
