Assist business leaders with development of business objectives and roadmaps Provide leadership for program/project Oversee the execution of the implementation plan with stakeholder oversight Work with business leaders to determine when to engage business analyst based on road map and project plan. Coordinate requirements gathering for new pension administration system. Ensure documented business requirements accurately capture the needs of the business and ready for development. Identify, report and escalate critical milestone risks to business leaders. Assist business analyst facilitation of JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions with business users to identify requirements Hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for deliverables for timeliness and quality Work closely with business leaders to adjust implementation strategies based on identified risks and observed results Lead status and project update meetings Will be responsible to actively managing timeliness and accuracy of business analyst work. Coordinate with training to ensure JIT training for all product releases Incorporate training, UAT and validation testing into overall project plan Provide strategic vision and thinking with focus on outcomes Work closely with executive sponsor to actively manage program/project constraints of risk, cost, time and scope. Form close links with team members and stakeholders Provide knowledge transfer Sample Skills/Requirements: Five (5) years experience in Program/Project Management role Masters degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelors degree substitutes for two years, or an Associates degree substitutes for one year Five (5) years experience working with or in State or Government pension services industry Five (5) years experience with Agile methodology in a project environment Strong knowledge of JIRA or equivalent project tracking tools. Two (2) consulting or contractor engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Program/Project Manager role implementing and designing pension administration systems through entire project life cycle Leadership and oversight experience with Business Analysts. Ability to lead and influence outside chain of command. Ability to direct & manage program/project development and associated tasks of large scale project from beginning to end, on time and on budget Stakeholder management ability to define program/project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders Ability to estimate program/project resource requirements and participants needed to achieve goals including changes during where necessary Ability to identify and manage program/project dependencies and critical path Time management, ability to establish program/project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and tracking such milestones and deliverables. Creating project schedules, identifying critical path activities and allocating resources appropriately. Risk management, ability to manage changes in program/project scope, identify potential crises or issues, and devise contingency plans as appropriate. Proactively managing obstacles to minimize impact on project outcomes. Ability to communicate program/project plans, expectations, updates, progress, issues, and successes in a timely & clear fashion when necessary Experience and knowledge implementing CRM software or workflow automation tools including but not limited to the following: Correspondence tracking Service request management Reporting Conflict resolution, ability to work collaboratively across entire organization Experience working with or communicating to /with executive stakeholders Extensive experience with UAT (user acceptance testing) Strong technical skills and abilities including databases and SQL Knowledge of software development life cycle Skilled at testing process and methodologies Ability to write test documentation such as plans, scripts and reports Budgeting and financial management experience scoping project resources, developing work structure breakdown Strong PC proficiency including Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software Combine into one ask.
