Job Title: Mobile iOS Tester Location: Fort Mill, SC- Onsite Duration: Long Term Contract Job Summary: High Level Skills needed: iOS and Android Automation tester using Appium and Cucumber. Responsibilities: 1. Perform Functional Testing: Conduct thorough functional testing of mobile applications, ensuring each feature works as expected and aligns with requirements. 2. Execute Manual and Automated Tests: Create and execute test cases, both manually and using automation tools, to verify the apps functionality, performance, and user experience. 3. Identify and Report Defects: Document and report bugs, usability issues, and other defects, working with the development team to prioritize and resolve them. 4. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing on each release to ensure that new updates do not negatively impact existing functionality. 5. Compatibility Testing: Verify the apps performance across different devices, screen resolutions, OS versions, and network conditions to ensure consistent quality. 6. Create and Maintain Test Documentation: Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring thorough documentation of testing procedures and results. 7. Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with developers to understand features, provide feedback, and troubleshoot issues during the development cycle. 8. Stay Updated with Mobile Testing Tools and Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest mobile testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: - Understanding of Mobile Testing: Strong knowledge of mobile testing strategies, including functional, usability, regression, and compatibility testing. - Familiarity with Testing Tools: Experience with mobile testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Selenium) and bug-tracking software (e.g., JIRA). - Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and ability to catch subtle issues or inconsistencies in mobile applications. - Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively work with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Preferred Skills: - Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in sprint-based environments. - Knowledge of CI/CD processes for mobile app testing. - Experience with performance and load testing on mobile apps.
