Job Title: QE API Testing & Automation

Location: Englewood, NJ (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)

Note: Only local candidates will be considered, and the final round interview will be in person at the NBC office. Please ensure candidates have not been previously interviewed by Tavant or NBC.

Job Overview:
We are looking for a QE Lead specializing in API Testing & Automation to join NBC's team in Englewood, NJ. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site work, with a focus on delivering high-quality software testing solutions across web applications and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA efforts in web application and API projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners and engineering.
Conduct manual API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
Validate API endpoints, payloads, and responses for stability and reliability.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and REST Assured.
Ensure test automation aligns with Agile methodologies and in-sprint automation.
Troubleshoot and debug test failures using GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins.
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience in API testing and Automation (Web + API).
Strong knowledge of tools like Swagger, Postman, and Selenium.
Hands-on experience with Java, TestNG, and REST Assured.
Experience with API automation frameworks.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins.
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with engineering and business teams.
Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
