Candidate needs to be currently a resident of WI with a history of working in the state or willing to relocate (and remain) to Madison, WI for the duration of the assignment. START / END: 02/24/2025 to 06/30/2025 with the possibility of extension. The state cannot post any job beyond the end of the current fiscal year (so while many/most jobs at the state could run multi-year, they all are capped to the current fiscal year to start). If they are currently in Wisconsin and have a working history in the state need 4+ years in the following: GIS Architecture GIS Administration ArcGIS Roads & Highways (arch/admin exposure) (3+ years) Oracle 19c ArcSDE (2+ years) Designing/Building and Integrating GIS Web Applications Desktop Application and Geoprocessing Tools If they would need to relocate to Wisconsin, I would want to see the above items PLUS: Designing/building and integrating GIS web applications, desktop applications, and geoprocessing tools using tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET, ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, and Python. Developing GIS web mapping applications using Java and related tools. Utilizing ETL processes with tools such as Safe Softwares FME Form, FME Flow, or ESRIs Data Interoperability. Required skills: GIS Architecting and Administration (4+ years of experience) ArcGIS, Roads & Highways architecting and administration (3+ years of experience) Oracle 19c ArcSDE, and Esris ArcGIS Spatial Database Engine (SDE) (2+ years of experience) Experience designing/building and integrating GIS web applications, desktop application and geoprocessing tools (2+ years of experience) Gathering and documenting requirements (1+ years of experience) Nice to have skills: Ability to work independently utilizing critical thinking and discretionary decision-making skill set and excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills (4+ years of experience) Key responsibilities: GIS Architecting and Administration (4+ years of experience) Implementing, administering, and supporting organizational GIS servers, cloud infrastructure, organizational GIS database infrastructure, and GIS data content. Administering, publishing, and supporting content, web maps, applications, workflows, and data in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online. GIS Architecting and Administration (3+ years of experience) ArcGIS, Roads & Highways, including data structures, algorithms, topology, networking, and linear reference systems and models. Designing/architecting GIS web mapping applications for editing multiple feature classes (point, line, polygon) using ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Enterprise. Designing and integrating web services in GIS web applications with ArcGIS REST API. Designing, architecting, and integrating web services used by internal and external mobile GIS editing applications. Databases (2+ years of experience) Oracle 19c ArcSDE, and Esris ArcGIS Spatial Database Engine (SDE). Application Development (1+ years of experience) Designing/building and integrating GIS web applications, desktop applications, and geoprocessing tools using tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET, ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, and Python. Developing GIS web mapping applications using Java and related tools. Utilizing ETL processes with tools such as Safe Softwares FME Form, FME Flow, or Esris Data Interoperability. Requirements (1+ years of experience) Documenting requirements and design. Documenting GIS content and fulfilling metadata requirements for spatial data. Conducting requirements analysis.
