http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2112584&uid= Mainframe Developer Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Hybrid ) Job Description: 6 to 8 years as a software development engineer with mainframe technologies - Should be able to develop, modify & unit test programs using COBOL, JCL & VSAM - Performs and completes specific programming activities to deliver routine programs - Provides testing of basic and routine functionality to complete and deliver assignments. - Follows defining specifications, coding standards, and project guidelines to ensure code integrity. - Assists in the creation of documentation to meet projects and users requests. - Strong technical skills (COBOL, JCL, and VSAM) - Knowledge of XPEDITER or any other similar tool for debugging programs - Knowledge of basic mainframe tools & utilities (Fileaid/FileManager, Abendaid/Dumpmaster, ISPF, Endevor/Changeman, SORT etc.) - Self-disciplined, strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills. - Good communication skills (verbal and written) - Candidate with experience of Life Insurance application would be given preference.
