Title: Amazon Connect developer 6-12 month contract 100% remote - Remote, have to accommodate PST, must be comfortable to travel to Bay Are or Dallas when required Position Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Amazon Connect Consultant with expertise in development and integration of Amazon Connect and AWS services. This role involves working closely with offshore teams and business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based contact cent re solutions. Responsibilities: Amazon Connect Development: Lead the design and implementation of Amazon Connect processes, including Contact Flow Design, Lambda integration, Lex integration, and Call Center routing. Handle 60-70% development tasks, ensuring hands-on involvement in coding and troubleshooting . Team Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between offshore teams, customers, and partners. Assign tickets, triage tasks, and delegate work to appropriate resources within the offshore team. Stakeholder Engagement: Gather requirements from customers and business stakeholders to translate into optimized contact center designs. Work with cross-functional teams to address business needs and ensure smooth implementation. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance, remove blockers, and lead delivery teams as a senior technical resource. Create proofs of concept and engage in collaborative troubleshooting. Troubleshooting and Monitoring: Use SQL and CloudWatch queries to identify and resolve issues effectively. Required Qualifications: Proven expertise in Amazon Connect and AWS Lambda functions. Proficiency in Node.js/JavaScript for development tasks. Hands-on experience with SQL and CloudWatch queries for troubleshooting. Ability to manage and assign tasks to offshore teams. Strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written). IT experience in cloud-based contact center solutions and architecture. Preferred Skills: Broader knowledge of AWS integration and software development patterns. Familiarity with various AWS services that complement Amazon Connect.
