Need at least 2 state client experienced candidate with local DL to MN with LinkedIn Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to lead the modernization, enhancement, and ongoing support of a legacy application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application development and Splunk technology, with a focus on security updates, functionality improvements, and training. The role requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to deliver enterprise solutions in a hybrid work environment. Required Qualifications : 5+ years of experience developing applications and solutions using Splunk (e.g., dashboards, APIs, logging). 7+ years of experience in ASP.NET MVC application development with C#. Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit or JUnit). 7+ years of experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Experience with relational databases and T-SQL (MS SQL Server). Experience developing REST/SOAP web services and using Web API. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum development processes. Expertise in modern development concepts, including Domain-Driven Design. Experience working with law enforcement, public safety, or criminal justice systems. Experience with Windows Services using .NET. Familiarity with XML schemas and XSLT. Hands-on experience with front-end JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap). Key Responsibilities: Train development teams on Splunk, including reporting, dashboards, search capabilities, APIs, knowledge objects, and data models. Collaborate with teams to design and implement Splunk-based solutions for modernizing applications. Translate business requirements into technical designs and programming specifications. Develop, deploy, and test applications using modern development tools and automated testing frameworks. Provide technical guidance on enterprise-level solutions to meet business objectives. Conduct code reviews, create unit and integration test cases, and collaborate with quality assurance teams. Ensure solutions adhere to security standards and development best practices. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Build strong partnerships with internal teams and stakeholders. Lead knowledge transfer and provide ongoing training on technologies and solutions. Work Environment: This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence on specific days and remote work flexibility.
