Schedule queries to run automatically and set up to email reports to recipients. Modify the Cognos framework on an infrequent basis. Develop Informer queries to report on data from Naviga Ad. Explore and recommend other reporting tools that can replace Cognos. Prepares and presents written and oral presentations. Keeps management apprised of project status. Other duties as assigned. Skills/Experience Requirements: General Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate with organizational personnel to define problems and present solutions at all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to translate customer requirements into specifications. Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines. Comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations. Possesses strategic thinking combined with tactical project planning and management skills. Specific Skills: Strong skills creating and maintaining Cognos queries using Cognos 11 required. Experience developing/updating Cognos framework packages using Cognos 11. Possesses skills and experience using SSRS and SQL queries. Experience developing reports with PowerBI is desired. Skills using Informer and other reporting tools a plus. Understanding of databases (SQL Server, Oracle and UniData) is desired. Knowledgeable of best practices for the creation of reports. Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology or other related field.
