Essential Job Responsibilities: Performs software and hardware updates for test vehicles. Performs root cause analysis for functional problems identified. Performs measurements in various points of the electrical system and logs the vehicle data that is needed for troubleshooting. Supports with problem resolution by teaming up with the development engineers as needed for specific problems. Recommends solutions and provides feedback to development teams both locally and globally. Issues problem reports for defects identified in vehicles electrical and electronic systems. Performs test activities in support of road approval process for every test vehicle that is planned to be used on public roads. Participates in design implementation by supporting with training and knowledge transfer activities. Updates databases used in fault tracing. Provides feedback regarding the test truck build process and proposes improvements especially in root cause analysis.
