Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions across our organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices, with a strong understanding of how to integrate Salesforce with other systems and customize it to meet the business's unique needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized to deliver value.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions for various projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Salesforce best practices.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and post-deployment support.
Salesforce Configuration & Customization: Oversee and drive the customization of Salesforce features such as custom objects, workflows, process builder, triggers, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and more.
Integration Architecture: Design and implement integration solutions for Salesforce with third-party systems, including ERP, databases, and other cloud applications, using tools like MuleSoft, REST APIs, SOAP, etc.
Governance & Best Practices: Establish coding standards, development frameworks, and governance for Salesforce development to ensure high-quality solutions and maintainability.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Customization & Optimization: Recommend custom solutions, optimizations, and best practices for Salesforce-related challenges while balancing user needs and technical constraints.
Data Management & Security: Oversee data management and security requirements, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards.
Mentoring & Training: Mentor junior Salesforce developers and administrators, ensuring they follow best practices and build their skills for future development.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and technologies and provide recommendations on how they can be applied to improve system performance, functionality, and user experience.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide troubleshooting support for technical issues and provide solutions to optimize platform performance.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, with at least 3 years of experience specifically in a Salesforce architect role.
Salesforce Certifications:
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is preferred.
Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer certifications are a plus.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and tools, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Lightning Web Components.
Platform Skills: Hands-on expertise with Salesforce programming languages and technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
Integration Skills: Proven experience with integrating Salesforce with external applications and systems, using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware platforms, and tools like MuleSoft.
Cloud & DevOps Tools: Familiarity with cloud-based deployment tools and DevOps practices within Salesforce, including Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading technical teams and guiding them through complex projects.
Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex business and technical problems with innovative Salesforce solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile environments and managing Salesforce projects using Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks.
Multi-Org Strategy: Experience with multi-org implementations and Salesforce shared services architecture.
Industry Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce implementations in specific industries like healthcare, financial services, or retail is a plus.
