Position : SAP Hana Financials Architect Location : 100% remote Duration: 6 months contract Visa: Only USC/GC/EAD Interview: Process: 1 Round to hire (MS Team) Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Architect (Financial) to support our ongoing efforts to improve financial reporting and data accessibility. This team works closely with business stakeholders to ensure the effective use of SAP S/4HANA data for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Vendor Management, and Financials. This is a critical role for bridging the gap between technical data architecture and functional financial processes, enabling seamless data integration into platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and SAP DataSphere. FINANCIAL: They need someone with knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Vendor Management, and Financials within SAP S/4HANA. This person will need to bridge the gap between technical teams and end-users, helping them to extract the right data for reporting and analytics. The resource must have expertise in SAP backend table structures and relationships. They will analyze business requirements, map them to SAP data models, and ensure alignment with the organizations reporting goals. GCP Cloud: They need someone with experience setting up Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to handle data from SAP AP/AR/Financials and integrating it into SAP DataSphere. Familiarity with Core Data Services (CDS) Views is crucial, as the resource will need to recommend and implement standard CDS extracts to streamline integration. This will be a techno-functional problem solver who can analyze requirements, identify the relevant tables, and guide the team in understanding what data needs to be extracted and sent to GCP. JOB Description Must Haves: 10+ years of experience working with SAP, including S/4HANA. (Absolute Must have) - Functional expertise in AP, AR, Vendor Management, and Financials. Strong knowledge of SAP backend table structures and data relationships. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and SAP DataSphere. Proficiency in creating and managing CDS Views for data extraction. Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to guide organizations in data architecture decisions and best practices. Key Responsibilities : Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP S/4HANA functional areas including AP, AR, Vendor Management, and Financials. Provide expertise on SAP backend table structures, field relationships, and data extraction requirements to support financial reporting needs. Guide the Finance IT team on what data tables need to be extracted, ensuring alignment with GCP and DataSphere integration goals. Design and recommend Core Data Services (CDS) Views to enable efficient data extraction for AP, AR, Vendor Management, and Financials. Collaborate with business and technical teams to map financial reporting requirements to SAP data models and tables. Support the setup of GCP to handle SAP data extracts using industry best practices.
