Oracle Cloud Architect Atlanta GA -Hybrid -Locals prefers 1-2 Years contract The Oracle Cloud Architect is a key strategic role, responsible for the end-to-end design, deployment, and support of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to aligning technology solutions with business objectives, ensuring adherence to architectural governance and standards, and optimizing cross-functional collaboration for project success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes, value streams, and outcomes, coupled with technical expertise to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. They will serve as a thought leader, providing guidance on emerging technologies, agile methodologies, and best practices to support innovation and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy OCI infrastructure and applications to meet business needs. Develop architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps. Support incident management, disaster recovery, and issue resolution for cloud services. Guide teams on agile principles, product management, and architectural best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud architecture, development, and infrastructure disciplines. Expertise in OCI, Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation, and cloud computing concepts. Proficiency in automation tools like Terraform and Ansible. Solid understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and SDLC methodologies (agile, DevOps, etc.). Skills & Competencies: Strong technical acumen in networking, storage, database services, and security within OCI. Analytical and organizational skills to manage complex projects and solutions. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration across teams. Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and guide decision-making processes.
