From: Mahender Singh, Digitaldhara [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] PL/SQL Developer Location: NY/NJ- Onsite Senior level lead Developer ( who can at times wear an architect or DBA hat) with hands-on experience on oracle stack ( Utilities, PLSQL programming, SQL scripting, Performance tuning, storage and process optimization, data replication via Goldengate etc ) 9-15 years of relevant experience Current Pain Areas Lots of SQL scripts, packages and consumption queries need retuning Data is growing out of control and needs better management ( some tables may need remodelling or new data retention policies) DBAs are overburden What day to day responsibilities\\tasks would look like Writing new or maintaining existing oracle applications ( 8-10 databases, includes OLTP and Datawarehouse ) Develop process in collab with DBAs to automatically identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement Identify bottlenecks in existing process and implement changes ( data storage, query response times, data latency , resource consumption etc ) Automate manual tasks ( data replication , data retention, back up, archival etc) Work closely with DBA team for code promotion and fix application.
