The ideal candidate will have experience in designing laboratory equipment, furniture, fume hoods, and tabletops. Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidEdge is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components and systems for laboratory equipment, furniture, fume hoods, and tabletops. - Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and SolidEdge. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specifications and requirements. - Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design performance and safety. - Oversee the prototyping and testing of new designs. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing products. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in mechanical design, particularly in laboratory equipment and furniture. - Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidEdge. - Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
