The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, executing comprehensive manual tests, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. This role requires strong collaboration with clients and internal teams to meet project objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1.Client Interaction: Act as the primary QA point of contact for clients. Understand and analyse client requirements and ensure clarity in the testing scope. Provide regular updates to clients on testing progress and defect status. 2. Requirement Analysis Collaborate with clients to gather detailed requirements. Understand and analyse business requirements and functional specifications. Identify gaps and inconsistencies in the requirements. 3. Test Planning and Design: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Create and maintain testing documentation. 4. Test Execution: Execute manual test cases and document results. Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, record, and track bugs in a defect tracking system 5. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues. Prepare and share test summary reports 6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software meets the specified requirements and quality standards. Validate fixes and enhancements during and after release. 7. Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements in testing processes and tools. Stay updated on the latest testing trends and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: 1. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience with test management and defect tracking tools Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. Basic knowledge of Mainframes for dataset validation (File processing) 2. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage client expectations and provide clear explanations. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 3.Preferred Skills (Optional): Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium). Experience: Proven experience in manual testing with direct client interaction.
