The ideal candidate will have expertise in network design, deployment, troubleshooting, and security in a large-scale enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Deployment: Design, implement, and manage high-performance network solutions. Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Ensure seamless integration and connectivity across different network environments. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches on network devices. Identify and resolve network performance issues and outages. Monitor network traffic and ensure optimal performance. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with Apple teams to understand and address networking needs. Provide support during network changes, upgrades, and deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network security and optimization. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes. Generate performance and incident reports for stakeholders. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices. Ensure compliance with Apple's security standards and protocols.Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment. Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel). Expertise in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and cloud networking technologies. Tools and Platforms: Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark). Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash for network automation. Understanding of network virtualization (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Certifications (Preferred): Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher. Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP). AWS Certified Advanced Networking. Experience: 5+ years in enterprise network engineering roles. Experience in large-scale, global network environments is a plus.
