Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PostgreSQL internals and architecture. Leverage expert knowledge of C, Bison, Flex, CVS, Autotools, and Meson to improve system functionality. Troubleshoot and debug PostgreSQL code to resolve issues and optimize performance. Drive enhancements to the PostgreSQL Community Edition, ensuring improvements align with customer needs. Respond to and execute enhancement requests for PostgreSQL CE (Community Edition). Act as an SME for critical event troubleshooting, providing solutions to high-impact incidents. Define and implement best practices tailored to the AT&T environment. Conduct testing and benchmarking to validate system performance and stability. Actively engage in PostgreSQL community forums, providing support and sharing knowledge.
